About us
The clubhouse at Llantwit Major SLSC overlooks the main beach and has one of the most spectacular views along and across the Bristol Channel. As well as housing the club’s emergency equipment, it also provides an office and training facilities for members. In the summer months, it is a meeting place for members and guests. The club facility, together with its grounds and local camping availability, are the setting for many club functions.
The spectacular views and surroundings, together with use of the facilities are free of charge to members.
How to get involved
At Llantwit Major SLSC there are activities and opportunities for people of all ages and the club provides a perfect family activity centre. Because the club has charitable status we are able to keep club subscriptions to a very reasonable £60 a year, which can be paid by monthly standing order, for all age of members.
This subscription is all you need to pay, giving our members year round swim training and access to the club’s craft.
Surf Lifesaving is a learned skill and members from the age of 7 onwards can start to gain qualifying awards that allow them to participate within this sport.
To join download the 2011 application form and contact our Membership Secretary Sarah Thomas
