My name is Claire Thomas and I sell all club merchandise for the club on a voluntary basis. I have an 10 year old daughter who started with the club in September 2007, so I have some idea about the information and things that you will need.
I have detailed on the attached sheet some of the items that you are able to purchase. Some are in stock and can be obtained immediately whilst others may have to be ordered and will take a little longer. The delivery time on orders is out of my control but the maximum time you should have to wait is 6 weeks. I will however do my best to get any ordered items to you as soon as I can even if it means harassing my suppliers!
The quality of the goods that I supply is of a high standard and in my opinion reasonably priced and overall, they are good value for money. There is a small profit made by the club which goes into club funds and helps all the children within the club benefit. I am more than happy for you to look at any items that are held in stock prior to purchase. Ordered items that have been initialled can however not be returned. Payment must be made when the goods are received. I can advise you on sizes if you are uncertain what to order and I am happy for swimwear to be tried on over underwear providing the labels and protective strips are not removed.
There are some items that are required for competitions whilst the other items are purely optional. However, most members purchase the club holdalls, jackets, hoodies, T-shirts and swimwear. For the boys, the long leg jammers are the most popular trunks. We also sell other items such as beanie hats, tracksuit bottoms, football style tops and googles.
For summer beach carnivals, you will require a club T-shirt (£6.00-7.00 depending on size) and a club competition hat which costs £6.50. For beach training, you will also need a wetsuit and a rash vest and booties would also be advisable. These are also available for sale in club colours.
For winter pool competitions, you will require a red silicone swim cap which presently costs £5.00.
