At L.M.S.L.S.C we have 5 membership options as follows;
Nipper age 8-12 } These catagories are active roles that can
Junior age 12-18 } include training, competition and voluntary
Senior/Master age 18+ } patrols.

The active membership will allow you full access to equipment and facilities (subject to correct qualifications or supervision) as well as the knowledge and skill of our coaches and instructors.
The active membership fee includes swimming training. Instruction and training on lifesaving skills, first aid, surf skills and beach safety, as well as the opportunity to take qualifications for career or recreational purposes.
The only requirement needed for active membership is to be a competent swimmer with plenty of confidence in the water.
(New members will have to meet a standard of swimming designated by the age group coordinator.)
Our aim is to get all our active members to improve their fitness and water skills through a series of competency tests from the age of 8yrs right through to 16yrs when they will be able to sit the National aquatic R.S exam. Which will qualify them to provide an invaluable service to the community as a beach lifeguard and compete in SLSA events around the world.
On the other hand if you are just looking to join a club with great social events and a relaxed welcoming atmosphere, anyone is welcome to join as a non active member.
