Patrol Rota Request,
In the meeting on May12th the committee re-affirmed the requirement to patrol, and ultimately would sanction the removal of memberships for non-patrolling Seniors.
I will not name the missing members at this time, but can you please respond ASAP. And thanks again to those who have responded.

£2000 donation for club Nipper Boards

Well done to our competitors in the Welsh Stillwater Competition at Swansea, both Rebecca and Ashleigh won individual
medals. Hopefully more entries for next year!
GB Stillwater held at Millfield on Sat 16th February 2008.
We only had 3 entered Dan Owen, Ben Owen and Jack Anderson. They all did incredibly well and allowed the club to come 11th out of the 15 entered. This was an amazing achievement considering there were only 3 of them. In every event they came within the points and came away with a total between them of 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze. Well done boys!

Welsh Stillwater for 7 to 13 year olds.
We came 6th out of the 13 clubs entered, which was an excellent result considering the size of the teams that some of the other clubs entered. We achieved 8 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals in the individual events. In the team events there was 1gold for the boys 8 - 10 rescue tube pair (their first entry) and a bronze in the boys team medley relay. Well done all for taking part!
And a big thank you to Sally for her sterling work co-ordinating the team.

The SLSA Wales resolution
The club supported the SLSA Wales management committee’s resolution to become a self governing body in Jan 2009. In the meeting they addressed the club’s major concerns, namely that they were seeking to negotiate a way forward with SLSA GB and they would have to return to the clubs before the end of the year, with the outcome of those talks.
