Our Nipper program caters for children aged 7 to 13 and provides a great opportunity for them to gain surf safety information and skills. Llantwit Major SLSC provides a fun filled program of activities and competitions over the summer, with Nipper carnivals and regional Nipper titles. Throughout the year the Nippers train weekly in a pool to improve their swimming strength.
Summer Training
When: Monday 7.15pm – 8.00pm (Throughout the year)
Where: Fontygary Swimming Pool
When: Thursday 6:30pm
Where: Various beaches depending on conditions – Llantwit Major Beach, Barry Island and others.
Winter Training
When: Monday 7.15pm – 8.00pm (Throughout the year)
Where: Fontygary Swimming Pool
When: Thursday 7.30pm – 8.15pm
Where: Cogan Swimming Pool
